Like many teenage girls, Charlie Ford has a strained and complicated relationship with her father.
Like many fathers, Commander Benjamin Ford is uncommunicative, overly protective and completely lacks empathy.
Some of that, however, may have to do with Cmdr. Ford being killed in action when Charlie was just a child. Through a strange twist of fate and technology a portion of his consciousness uploaded into the Guardian mech he was piloting when he died. Since then, Charlie’s father has been a hulking, 30 foot war-machine with a singular objective: keep Charlie safe.

PARENT/GUARDIAN is the 32 page premier issue of a new, sci-fi/adventure series (of a planned 4 issue mini-series) that follows the exploits of Charlie Ford and her robotic father, as they are tasked with keeping peace at the far reaches of our galaxy, while constantly being at war with one another.
